Who we are

Hey there! We’re John and Brittany Shockley 😁 

We’re high school sweethearts who got married when we were 19yrs old! We grew up in Kentucky and moved to Florida in 2018. I (John) had a career in sales, but in early 2020 I began to feel that God was calling me into planting a church one day. From that day forward we set out to fulfill that ministry from the Lord. Through the years God has entrusted to me pastoral stewardship over ministries ranging from Next Gen (Kids, Students, Young Adults), Groups, Missions, Serve Teams, Discipleship classes, and more. 

Fast forward to the beginning of 2025 and God started to work in us a heart for planting a Church in Parrish Florida. Relentless Church is that Church. Relentless is more than some “vision” or “dream” that God put into our hearts though. We believe it is simply God’s Church done God’s way to God’s glory. 

Call us crazy, but we are still in awe of, and still believe in a big and sovereign God who has given us an inerrant, infallible, and totally sufficient Word (the Bible). You can call us crazier still, but we also believe that this God offers us relationship with Him through His Son Jesus. And to push it further, we believe God has invited us into a mission with Him to reach the world with the Gospel, and has even filled us with His Spirit to empower us to accomplish it. 

The very heartbeat of Relentless Church is to see His name magnified in our community and across the world. We believe that relationship with God is what our souls were made for. There is no greater purpose, no greater fulfillment, no greater adventure, and no greater joy than to worshipfully walk with our God.

Therefore our vision is,

• To worshipfully walk with God, proclaiming His excellencies to those near and far, increasing the joy of His people, to the glory of His name in all things!
